Global Warming & Climate Change -
What Do I Need To Know?
Is
Global Warming Real? The Great Debate
Is global warming real? Is the news as really
as so many scientists say it is? Unfortunately, global
warming is real, and the world scientific community has come to a complete
consensus that has brought the global debate to the end. Global
warming is real. It is a serious issue that must be dealt with
if we wish to keep the world we now have. Despite the ambivalence
of many government leaders, global warming is real and must
be dealt with in a serious manner that takes into account the
immediate action necessary to reverse the serious effects of
global warming.
The
world has come to a strong consensus. Scientists,
researchers and leaders from every corner of the earth
have agreed that
the science has spoken loud and clear: the global climate is
changing, and human activity is responsible for this change
in climate. The world is becoming warmer. Why is the
world becoming warmer? The world is becoming warmer because of the
large amount of emissions that are being released into
the atmosphere
each and every day. These emissions are primarily greenhouse
gases, especially carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.
All of these greenhouse gases are emitted into the atmosphere
in massive amounts by human beings.
These greenhouse gases that are released are often released
by such massive human activities such as industrial processes.
These may include fossil fuel combustion, massive deforestation,
many different changes in land use, and other historical trends
that have cause many more greenhouse gases to be released into
the atmosphere. Researchers have projected that many of these
trends will continue in more global warming throughout the
21st century. It is currently projected that the 21st century
will see an increase in global temperature of 2.5 degrees Fahrenheit
to 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit by the year 2100.
Many well-respected scientists and researchers have seen that
global warming will have dire consequences for the United States
and the world beyond. These scientists and researchers have
predicted several consequences of global warming, whose effects
can already be seen. The effects of global warming are now
undeniable, since they are now evident. There is already evidence
of many of the effects of global warming. For instance, you
can see many glaciers and polar ice caps already melting.
What
can we expect from global warming? Global warming has
many real consequences and many scientists have many strong
projections for what to expect in the future. The consequences
of global warming include the rising of the sea levels as the
glaciers and polar ice caps melt down. Scientists also predict
many changes in precipitation patterns as well as an increase
in floods, greater risk of droughts, a threat to many animals
and endangered species, threats to the biodiversity of many
ecosystems, threat to many fragile ecosystems, more hurricanes,
earthquakes, tsunamis, undersea earthquakes, and many other
threats to public health.
What
can we do to stop the onset of global warming? All major
scientists agree that in order to halt the devastating effects
of global warming, something must be done immediately. In order
to stop the onset of global warming, we must be willing to
transform the way we look at the world, but perhaps most importantly,
the way we power the world. World and industry leaders from
every corner of the world must be willing to shift way from
traditional fossil fuel energy sources and switch to renewable
sources of energy. This is the only way to deal with the global
warming problem that threatens our planet. However, world leaders
must work with industry together to change the way we look
at the world and the way we fundamentally approach the world.
